We have launched the fresh new look for Fund it! Thanks to our sponsorship from Bank of Ireland, we have been working away on this update to Fund it for the past number of months, to bring you a much better mobile experience, plus some new features we’re really excited about!
We’ve updated the look and feel of Fund it, and made it fully responsive for all devices, meaning you can fund projects on the go, wherever you are.
We’ve launched 3 new categories: Enterprise, Environment and Heritage. Fund it is still a platform for creative projects from Ireland, and you can find out more about why we’ve added these new categories, and the great projects you can expect to see there on our blog.
We’ve also changed how Creators choose categories for their projects, making it much easier to find projects you’re interested in. Because we know nothing’s black and white, and some projects can’t be so easily defined, Creators can choose up to 6 relevant categories for their projects. For Funders, that means that you will see more relevant projects in each category you browse. And browsing the categories is easier than ever with our new Browse menu!
Funders can add more images to their projects, to give Funder’s a better understanding of their project, and can keep Funders in the loop by adding images, videos and posts to their activity updates, right on their Project Page.
We’ve made funding even easier and faster – just click on the reward you want straight from the Project Page to get started.
We’ve got a whole new homepage, with our most recent stories from the blog, featured successful projects to give you inspiration, along with the usual Popular and Recommended projects live on the site now. You can also see which projects are new to the site thanks to our ‘New’ tag, and you can see exactly how long you have to fund that project before it’s gone thanks to our new count-down clock!
Oh and we’ve got a great new look blog… in case you hadn’t noticed!
So with so much exciting new developments to look at, get browsing, and fund something amazing today!
We may have a new look, but Fund it is still the same team of dedicated fundraisers based in Ireland. As part of the charity Business to Arts (CHY 9871), Fund it is not-for-profit, and we’re thrilled to be working with Bank of Ireland to help us achieve these fantastic developments. We can’t wait for you to see where we’re headed next!
