Maura's been dumped in a voice mail. It was only a casual thing, but she's still stuck with those grim feelings that come with rejection: self loathing, anger, resentment and an insatiable hunger for chocolate mousse.
To get out of this funk, she decides to take control.
Her mate thinks she's a dope, but Maura's sure she'll win the guy over.
This is my first short as writer. I've acted in dramas for TG4 (Seacht, Rasaí na Gaillimhe 2) and short films Bás Arto Leary and Break. The latter is currently on the festival circuit.

WHAT WE'RE AFTER
Everyone involved with this project so far has given their time and talent pro bono. Now it's at its final stage, we need some post production magic to bring what we've shot to life and have a film we can be immensely proud of.
All money raised will go on the edit, sound design and composing, as well as Fund it, Paypal and card fees. If there's anything at all extra, it will cover promotion material.
We'd love to submit Casual to the Galway Film Fleadh 2017. That's coming up soon enough, so we'll be pushing to get everyone's stars and schedules aligned to have the film done for the deadline. It's tight but doable!
Yes, yous, for taking the time to read. Any and all contributions are appreciated to the moon and back.
