December is month four of six monthly Fund it campaigns - all leading to the Launch of the Docklands Arts Fund in March 2016.
This will be the first ever arts fund of its type in Ireland.
During the first three months we met many businesses invested in Dublin's Docklands. In the new year - watch this space! - we'll announce some large partnership opportunities.
For the Fund it projects, we have been building a loyal team of supporters, both individuals, and groups of staff from Company social clubs. As a funder, you will receive tours of hidden Docklands and other great rewards. We have been working with celebrated artist/illustrator, Chris Judge, to create a fantastic artwork exclusively for the Fund it campaign rewards. Support the Fund and receive Chris Judge's unique screen-print 'A Shower of Dubs', pictured here.
Over the past couple of months we have had great fun with Chris Judge who exclusively made this image to help the campaign around the Docklands Arts Fund. The team at Damn Fine Print worked their magic to mix great Dublin blues, and hand-print the works on 350gsm paper. They make a perfect gift for you or a friend.
Chris is an artist/designer/illustrator living in Dublin, and he has previously completed large-scale work in Dublin's Docklands, and in Newland's Cross. His latest book Snowbeast has just been published for big and small people who love a good visual story.

All Fund it pledgors will also be invited to the Docklands Arts Fund launch event in Spring 2016
This Fund it campaign is part of a bigger picture:
The full Docklands Arts Fund fundraising strategy will be made up of:
• Lead corporate sponsors/investors
• Unrestricted donations from local companies of all sizes
• Sponsorship of defined-projects
• Opportunities with employee giving & fundraising schemes
• Community crowdfunding
The Dream?
To raise the largest fund possible for arts projects from a variety of sources. We are also looking for people who will help us spread the word, and become leaders of a new way to help make creative projects in the heart of Dublin's Docklands happen.
What Next?
Pledge and join the Docklands Arts Fund. We’ll keep you posted with projects along the journey. If you enjoy being part of it, we’ll ask you to tell other people about the later campaigns… At the end you will receive your piece of Docklands Art and be invited to the launch.
The Docklands Arts Fund is led by Business to Arts, in partnership with Dublin City Council.
