Before I explain my project, here's a little bit about me and my music.
I'm a singer and songwriter from Ovens, Cork. Piano based, my music is rootsy yet edgy, with hints of baroque pop, rock, blues and jazz. Lyrically, I try to explore the little subtleties of my home turf, Cork but also the greater, changing world and plenty of love, euphoria and melancholia for good measure! My debut album "Dreamcatcher" is near completion and I can hardly wait to release it.

My Project Explained
Please watch the video promoting the project. I've been promising to release an album for a while now. After much obsessive listening, I feel the time is right to let out these songs of mine. I've been working on them in Claycastle Studios in Youghal, under the direction of John Burke. "Dreamcatcher", has 13 songs. Centred around a beautiful old piano and my voice, many great musicians, both local and beyond have contributed their talents to enhance my compositions.
I think we almost have them to where they feel at home! The final stages are just left to complete. This is where I need your help..

Dreamcatcher

"Dreamcatcher" will be released both digitally and physically in Spring 2015. The first single launch is planned for late October 2014 in Coughlan's on Douglas Street, a really lovely, intimate venue in Cork, perfectly suited to the atmosphere of the set.

The album launch performance will follow the album release with dates nationwide.

Nathan Twomey has supplied the wonderful album artwork. Barra Vernon and Rupert MacCarthy-Murrogh, aswell as Paddy O Shea, have created music videos and have worked tirelessly to make me look pretty.

I'm nearly there, but I need your help.

Fund it
In order to bring this project to fruition I need 5,000 Euros to complete the recording process as well as the mastering, mixing and duplication stages. This has been a labour of love for me and those involved. However, unsigned artists like myself desperately need patrons and your help would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, anything you can.
