Hobgoblins Debut Album

We, the 'Goblins, are in the process of recording our first album. We were extremely lucky to have the use of a beautiful disused church, where we recorded the Drums, guitars, bass, brass and some vocals.

Although fun, the next stage will be expensive. Mixing, mastering, album artwork and getting the CDs and hard copies made. With so many in the band, we just about cover our costs while playing gigs, so WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP.

Most of you who are reading this will probably know us already, but for those who don't, here's a quick run through what we are as a band.

We have spent the last 4 years transforming from a fledgling 3-piece to a venue-packing 10-piece funk/blues/folk/retro-pop band. We have a big love for great music and good times, and this has become a visible part of our live performances.

Taking inspiration from our many and varied influences such as The Meters, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Rory Gallagher, Muddy Waters, Lalo Schifrin, The Band, Gomez, Miles Davis and Bob Dylan, we've sculpted our sound into something someone once described as "Funky Mexican Soul", which is as good a description as any!

Onwards and upwards 'Goblin style, gathering more momentum, believers and friends every step of the way!
