TWO WOMEN. A CENTURY APART. SAME STORY.
“I See You” is an insight into the life of Limerick-born Lady Mary Heath, first female commercial pilot and all round trailblazer. Her untold story sank into the walls of history, where she remains to this day.
Set against the backdrop of Modern Mary’s story – pregnant in an abusive relationship.
An immersive and female-led piece of theatre, which breaks the fourth wall. In fact, the only wall in this show is the one between them, encouraging these characters to become creative with their means of communication.
“I See You” explores how if women’s stories continue to go untold and unacknowledged, we will have no role models, and therefore repeat cycles of inequity, inhibiting our ability to evolve and move forward as powerful women in today’s society.

- Payment for Cast and Crew: Actors, Director, Producer, Stage Manager, Set Designer, Lighting Designer, Sound Designer.
- Design/Printing of Promotional Materials (including Flyers, posters and a promotional video).
- Costume and props.
- Rehearsal Space.
WHO IS AMY???
She plays Jarl Hrolf in 'Vikings' and most recent film credits include 'Jason Bourne', 'End of Sentence', 'The Cured'.
She was nominated for Best Writing and Best Performance at the Kinsale Shark Awards 2016.
Last year, she was nominated for the Discovery Award at Audi Dublin International Film Festival 2017.
An accomplished writer – her short film AFTER received Filmbase Funding Award and went into production January 2014, in which Amy played the female lead role.
Her One-Woman Theatre shows (of which there are six) have been performed in Dublin, London, Los Angeles and New York City to critical acclaim.

ANY CHALLENGES???
Funding is essential to get this project on its feet. There are always risks with a theatre production and managing the cast and crew's availability on such a small budget. But we are confident that we're curating a committed team of people, who are passionate about this project.
WHY CROWDFUNDING???
I produced six different one woman shows and toured them internationally from 2011 to 2016.
"I See You" is an ambitious project and needs a strong team of people behind it. In order to get the best people for the job, there needs to be payment offered.
This is an important time for women and we cannot allow for another forgotten woman's story to fade into the walls of history. By funding this project, you will be able to take back the power and allow these amazing women's stories be heard!
