“D’ya ever wonder if nuns get nun tracksuits…you know, the way we did in school?”
You know that voice inside your head that tells you not to say something, what would happen if it stopped?
Claire is a successful businesswoman. Susie is a stressed out yoga teacher. They know everything about each other, they talk about everything and they share everything. Now Claire is expecting their first child. With motherhood looming, how honest have they actually been with each other?
This play has been a complete labour of love for Aoife and Joanne, and therefore has had to fit between paid work, so has taken two years to get to this stage. We are so excited to have been programmed by The Source Arts Centre, Thurles on the 15th November 2012 at 8pm. After the opening of the show, we are hoping to tour to other venues.
We would like to acknowledge the generous support of North Tipperary County Council in this project, and their help in promoting the performance. Now we need to raise the funds to bring the show to the stage, and all funds received will go towards set, costumes, props, lighting, and insurance.
We have some lovely rewards available to our funders on top of the wonderful warm fuzzy feeling you'll get inside. Give it a go and find out.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!
We have made it to 100% with three days left to go. THANK YOU SO MUCH! This is a huge relief to us, as now we know that our money is safe and we can actually get down to sourcing everything we need.
This week has been very exciting. We have been working on the development of the script. This has involved a lot of muttering at the laptop and random conversations being blurted out whilst driving the car. Needless to say the family think that madness has set in :o)
Aoife met with the Production Technician in order to discuss the practicalities of the staging and lighting. He will start working on building the practicals as soon as Aoife has sourced them. He is also thinking about the lighting needs, and will be coming up with a lighting design.
We are due to begin rehearsals next week, and it will be great to have the whole cast together in one room!
THANK YOU all again. Your support for this project has been a great boost of confidence for us, and a great big kick up the a**!!!
All our love
Aoife and Joanne
Almost half way!!!

Firstly THANK YOU to everyone who has pledged to become a funder of our play, your support and generosity is unbelievable, and we are so grateful to each and every one of you.
We are almost at the half way stage, both in terms of our funding campaign and in the amount we need to raise, so we are doing really well and on target to reach the amount we need to raise.
With regards to the show, over the last week we have held a casting for the second character in the play, Susie. We invited a number of wonderful actresses to attend the casting, and the decision was almost impossible as the level of talent in Ireland is amazing! Eventually the decision came down to not only ability (which each and every actress had in abundance) but the look of the actress. We are delighted to announce that our new cast member is Martina Carey.
Martina is a fantastic actress (and has us laughing all day long!) She has a wide variety of experience from theatre to film with a bit of children's telly thrown in there to glitter things up! She is such an asset to our performance and we are delighted to start working with her.
We are in talks with our second venue and should have a date secured by the end of the month. Our little play is already starting to walk, and thank you again for helping it get to it's feet!
