James O Connor new EP "Day by Day"

Hi everyone, I am excited to say that I have recorded an New EP entitled "Day by Day" which contains four tracks. It is almost ready for an online release, but I feel that it would benefit from being professionally mastered. As with all professional releases mastering is essential to the finished project. Mastering costs are on average between €65 and €70 and I wish to have five tracks mastered (four for EP plus one bonus track for rewards) at a cost of €70 per track. I have just fallen short of the cost to have the mastering completed and I want my fans to listen to these latest songs at their very best.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the recording process, mastering is the final piece to complete the jigsaw puzzle. I already have the songs for this EP professionally recorded; mastering them will be the last step. It is the final packaging that makes the songs you hear on radio sound so bright and shiny. It is in other words the icing on the cake.

I have released many recordings over the last number of years which up to this point have all been self-funded. From my debut album “After Hours” recorded in the famous Sun Studios, Memphis to the well-received “Falling Up” EP and “Mr Fake” single to the latest album “Behind the Scenes” there are many fond memories to look back on and I want to keep creating more.

I know how much you guys have going on in your “Day by Day” lives and there are many obstacles you face financially. So to take the time out to read this for me is fantastic, I genuinely thank you it means so much more than you think. It is helping me as an artist to advance in my career and continue making music as well as you getting to be a part of the creation process.
