Hey there everybody, if you have got to the stage that you are even reading this then we appreciate it very much. So as you can see we have turned to Fund it to help us complete our 1st original album that has already been recorded and mixed in Leo Pearsons studio, Thomastown Kilkenny, We managed to record 14 tracks of which 11 or 12 will be on the final listing. We are trying to raise the capital to get the mastering, artwork and duplication of CD along with a limited edition on vinyl completed.
13 HOURS is going to be the first original album for Joe Fury & the Hayride. As we were saying, we have been to the studio and completed the recording and mixing stage already but that’s only the beginning for bands like ourselves. We are now in a position that we need to raise the funds to go through the process of mastering, artwork, duplication and then of course we need to present it to your good selves in the way of a little tour. After hitting a brick wall we decided to turn to this amazing site to ask for your help.
We feel that transparency is the best format here on this site so here is a breakdown of costing to complete the Album
Mastering = €1000
Artwork = €500
Duplication of Cd & limited edition on Vinyl = €2500
Distribution costs=€1000
Who are we?
For those of you who do not know us, Joe Fury & the Hayride are based in the West and South – with Joe and Eddie(guitarist) hailing from Galway/Mayo and the rhythm section Darren (drums) and Brian (upright bass) from Cork. We are known for our distinct ‘Roots-a-Billy’ sound – taking in genres ranging from Rockabilly, Vintage Country, Jump Blues, Hillbilly Boogie and Murder Ballads, noted to be one of Ireland’s premier American roots music bands.
The band have performed on some of Ireland’s premier stages – including, Electric Picnic, Cork Jazz Festival, Monaghan Blues Festival Kilkenny Roots Festival, Limavady and Dunfanaghy Jazz and Blues Festivals and have appeared as guests of Imelda May amongst others. Last year they were the first Irish band to play at the prestigious international Rockabilly Rave in the UK.
As you can see there is a youytube video of the sort of vibe we create live, this new album is still in the same vain but slightly more, lets say, edgy!!
Once again thank you for taking your time to look at our project and dont forget to copy "n" paste the link and spread the project far and wide!!!
See you soon
Big love
Joe, Eddie, Brian, Darren, and the rest of the team ...
