Kaleidoscope Night 3rd Birthday Party

By Kaleidoscope Night

description

Kaleidoscope, Ireland’s most unique and exceptional night of music, has captured the heart of its ever-growing audience since its inception in 2009.

Founded and co-curated by Cliodhna Ryan and Kate Ellis, and taking place each month in the Odessa Club Dublin, Kaleidoscope welcomes all music-lovers to an engaging, challenging, stimulating and delightful evening of music, from baroque to experimental. Presented in an informal setting, with flowers and candles adding splashes of colour and light, the country’s finest performers and composers have given us thrilling performances, world-premieres and exciting collaborations at this inspiring monthly event.

Now in its third year, Kaleidoscope is having its annual Birthday Party, which sees us moving to the Sugar Club, a venue where we can welcome all who wish to come and share this joyous occasion with us. This evening will be a whole-hearted celebration of the extraordinary community of artists who contribute to Kaleidoscope and the audience who consistently support us.

We wish to enlist your help to make our celebration a real party, with all we have been able to offer in the past, at an affordable ticket price. The evening will begin with a reception with a performance by the Ukeristic Congress, followed by our Kaleidoscope programme of music, which will include works by Mendelssohn, Astor Piazzolla and Linda Buckley and performers such as Franceso Turrisi, Laoise O’Brien, William Butt, Dermot Dunne, Kate Ellis and Cliodhna Ryan. Later, we will have music until midnight as well as a raffle in aid of the St. Agnes Primary School Violin and Orchestra Project, Crumlin.

The funds raised will go towards the performers’ fees and event and production costs.

Kaleidoscope would greatly appreciate any support you can offer to help make this occasion a night to remember, with the exceptional quality and experience we continuously seek to give audiences.
