I’m almost finished making my new album and I’m really excited.
As many of you know I have spent the last two-and-a-half years performing in Finland, coming home to Ireland to record my album whenever I had a chance. It’s been an incredible period of change and adjustment and many of the songs from this new album were composed during this very special time for me.
I’m in the final phase right now so I would love if you could be involved to enable the remaining costs including those for mastering, artwork, photography and album duplication. Through a wide range of rewards available, you would be facilitating this project to come to fruition.
I am looking to raise €4,000 in advance sales to complete these last few stages.
This album has cost much more than that to make so far. Indeed, the process of making an album is a very, very expensive business but worth every penny if it’s done right, with the best musicians and a great recording studio. Here is a sneak preview of what you can expect:
• highly talented musicians
• lush brass and string arrangements
• heart-breaking ballads
• hip-hop happening numbers
• down and dirty blue-grass
• a Gospel choir soul-searcher
• plenty of pop
• a kooky duet in French
• and a big rock anthem that will make you feel as if you can change the world (which you can).
I am launching the album in Pori, Finland (11.4) and later in the autumn in Dublin.
Thank you so much in advance for making this final stage possible.
