Our aim is to put a modern day cinematic spin on the ghost story of Loftus Hall in Wexford. Without giving too much of the story away, the movie revolves around Ms Jenny Broaders, who comes back to Ireland to seek out her ancestry, only to find her roots have links to the spiritual world. We have already shot the teaser and theatrical trailers in order to give a clear indication of the story idea, movie style and our professionalism towards the project.
We see the project as having 3 main benefits – (1). To create a cinema worthy production that can be profitably shown in cinemas in Ireland and worldwide. (2). To provide aspiring young actors and crew with the experience necessary to get to the next level in their careers. (3). Present Wexford as an attractive destination to visit – Wicklow has Wicklow Gaol, why can’t Wexford have Loftus Hall?
We are looking for your support to help us complete the movie to the finished product for cinema viewing.
Where will your money go?
We've been working on this movie idea since last December, planning and executing along the way to get to this point of theatrical trailer release. We want to make this movie about Loftus Hall, as stimulating and as terrifying as possible – a movie that brings the legend to life. To complete a movie like this will take 8 weeks of filming and 3 months of post production. The final release of the project is currently scheduled for 8 months after all initial funding is received.. Within this time the biggest costs and where your funding will go are staffing, accommodation, food, insurances, transport, equipment hire and editing.
Loftus the Movie was written by Paul Kinsella and Ted Moran, and we on behalf of the cast and crew we would be very thankful and appreciative of the funding you give.
