Making Lemonade GOES TO GALWAY

By Twisted Peasant

Twisted Peasant is a brand new theatre company based in Dublin focusing on allegorical story telling and the darker sides of our society favoring the seemingly unsavory.

Our inaugural show, Making Lemonade, has just had a wonderful run in The New Theatre with fantastic responses from audience and critics. However we now we need YOUR help to get this show to the good folks out west.

We are bringing this piece over to Galway Fringe Festival to give a whole new audience a chance to see our work.

'Making Lemonade', a one woman show, is a white knuckle ride into the underworld of gangland and gun-crime culture dealing with the damage, destruction and despair through a day in the life experience.

"Desperate to hold onto his Friday routine, Blade tries to cheat an oncoming current of chaos. Blinded by his own ferocity, the laws of cause and effect come into play and life is now determined by his own carnage."

"It's a rare moment of innocence in a play that is just as funny as it is gritty" ... **** - The Herald

"Beatley's performance is not one to be glossed over ... Her portrayal of Blade is unnervingly believable, gritty certainly, but on the whole brilliant " - Totally Dublin

After a cracking run in Dublin's New Theatre Twisted Peasant now needs YOUR generous help to give Making Lemonade its legs in Galway Fringe Festival. Putting on a show and touring with it incurs such dastardly costs as lighting, transport, accommodation and food and your kind contributions would make this possible and are greatly appreciated. Every little bit will help us hugely to get this show on the road !

Many thanks,
Twisted Peasant
