Hey guys, Im a singer/songwriter from Donegal in the north west of Ireland and I am so excited to tell you that I am ready to record my second album. The songs on this album have mainly been written over the winter but some songs that I had for a while are ready now to be recorded e.g EyeCandy and Stratford to Stansted.
The money will go towards:
- Studio Time, Producer Fee, Engineer Fee, to record 10 tracks (Mixed and Mastered)
- Professional Music Video for lead single
- Duplication of CD's
- Promotion of the album.
I'm asking people to help me fund this album on a reward basis. I have come up with different rewards and hope that people who enjoy listening to "I Choose To Love", will play a part in helping me reach my goal. You can choose below which amount you want to pledge and you will see what your reward is. The rewars range from €10 - Digital download of the CD to €500 - I will write a song for you about a personal story , your hometown, an event in history. I have two examples of previous songs that I had been commisioned to do.
The Gift - Maria McCormack
The Church Lane - Maria McCormack
I will be returning to The Grooveshack recording studio to Billy Robinson my producer and engineer. I know that Billy will once again do the finest job that these songs deserve.
Billy works with some of Irelands finest musicians. My last album had Richie Buckley on saxaphone ( Van Morrison) , Pat Crowley on piano ( Mary Black) , Declan McClafferty lead and steal guitar( In Their Thousands.) Laurance Doherty drums( Quarter Deck ) Peadar Coll lead guitar, Seamus Devenney and Jonathon Smeaton backing vocals and of course my right hand women Rachael McGettigan on backing vocals. This album will be no different as far as talanted musicians are concerned.
Hopefully if I am successful in reaching the target we will be able to have a album for you before the end of 2020. I don't see why it cant as I have full faith in Billy Robinson. I really want this album touch people like the last one did. To hear that people played the last one so much that they needed a another one is the biggest compliment. I hope we have this problem again.
Why I am crowdfunding
I am crowdfunding because being a gigging artist and Mum it is really difficult to come up with the money necessary to make the album on my own.
Thank you for your support with my debut album and I really hope you will get behind me for this one. I promise to give it my all and make you proud to have been apart of its making.
