Men Of Twenty, formerly known as Animal Beats, are an indie rock band with pop infusions from Limerick. After our debut EP, we have consistently been writing, always trying to improve our live set. This ultimately led to the decision to release a second three track EP featuring the latest of what we feel to be some of our most exciting material to date. After time spent in New York, gigging and touring the Irish circuit, we decided to evolve the band with a matured image and release the music video for our first single ‘Water to Sand’ making that transition from Animal Beats to Men Of Twenty.
To help us on their way, Searchlight Productions have given Men Of Twenty the opportunity to record two tracks under their development deal. The deal also includes time spent with producers and engineers helping them work on the band itself and producing the chosen material. By the end of the Development deal, we will be playing a showcase gig in The Button Factory on March 25th along with three other bands chosen by Searchlight Productions.
This Fund it Campaign will ultimately help us to record our third track, pay for the rest of the mixing and mastering, hard copies, PR and of course the upcoming music videos. We will also be organising a tour of Ireland playing gigs in Dublin, Limerick, Galway, Cork and more.
During the entire campaign we can sincerely promise to keep everyone as excited about the EP release as we are by releasing live videos, a music video and we’ll be doing an intimate acoustic gig in Limerick in the wonderful Kilmurry Church Arts Centre.
