We are a duo of brothers Cian and Conor MacSweeny from Cork. We have been playing music for many years in different guises and in the summer of 2013 decided to make a go of it ourselves, finally making official the band we started as kids.
Relocating to Ballintubbert House, Co. Laois (birthplace of the poet C. D. Lewis) gave us the time, space and inspiration to find our sound and to write our music.
Our summer of writing, recording and demoing culminated in a well-received performance at Electric Picnic 2013. This really proved to us the strength of the new songs and the positive effect they have on us and the people we are performing to. With these demos we have been lucky enough to secure the help of a top producer who has worked with such acts as U2, Depeche Mode and Bell X1. We are really excited about the songs and this is our chance to take our music to the next level.
We now want to take that next step and release a professionally recorded 4 track EP of our music. We need your help to do this! We are looking to raise €7,000. These funds will go directly towards the costs of professional studio hours, engineering, recording, mixing, producing, mastering and distributing the music. We have already received overwhelming support from many of you, and for that we are eternally grateful.
