Morb presents...

By Peter Dunne

description

We can’t say much at the minute (we like secrets! Ssssh!) but Morb is back and preparing for its new theatrical event which will be premiered in Dublin this September! But we need your help.

We really want you to fund our campaign but in return we want you to be rewarded for your generosity and be ahead of the game. So now is your chance to get your hands on some original artwork from our upcoming production designed and created by artist Danny Greenhalgh. His beautiful illustration can be yours in two ways. Printed on A4 250gm card, perfect to hang on the wall of your haunted house, or printed on a 100% cotton tote bag, useful for carrying your eye of newt and toe of frog!

Morb is Peter Dunne, writer, events co-ordinator and horror fanatic. Peter is bringing his new play to the stage later on this year with the help of the creepiest team going. Deadly director Sarah Finlay, Putrid Producer John Dennehy, Creepy Composer Sinead Diskin, Chilling Costume designer Caroline Butler, Terrifying thesbian Niamh McGrath and actor from the afterlife Donncha O’Dea. Among us all we have loads of experience and are so eager to show you our new work. Morb itself has a great history of presenting horror film nights, history of horror seminars and horror events – most recently Eerie, the audio ghost tour which will freak you out on the streets of Dublin.

Morb has an exciting summer of fundraising events planned, each one horror themed! We started the summer with our Ghost Bus fundraiser and Eerie came back for 1 week only. But for now it’s all about art – the amazing art of Danny Greenhalgh. You get a limited edition print for each donation! This way you are funding a brand new theatre show, AND giving to an amazing Dublin artist!

As you might imagine a new play needs a lot of capital to get it off the ground. Fun things such as sets, costumes, props. Necessary things such as insurance and marketing. We are so grateful to have been give great support in kind from many in the artistic community with rehearsal space and technology, and now with your support we can be so grateful to you too.

This new piece of theatre is the culmination of many years passion and many months of planning. It is the sum of the creativity of the whole team and we are so excited to tell you more about it when the time comes. We promise you a night at the theatre you won’t forget.

Thanks for taking the time to click on this page and thank you in advance for your support of the arts. We hope you enjoy your tote bag and that your new art hangs proudly in your home. Thank you thank you thank you!
