It all began back in a small fishing village called Xabia, south of Valencia in Spain. Listening to the wind blowing and dreaming of putting together my first solo record since leaving Hothouse Flowers. I had been touring solidly for almost 20 years which was amazing. I got to play with U2, the Rolling Stones, INXS, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Christy Moore, The Dubliners, Michelle Shocked, Tim Finn, Mike Scott, Def Leppard and the list goes on and on....
Now I am so excited to bring you my new solo album titled Me You and The Four Walls.
It is a collection of songs about love, joy, frustration, what green is to yellow and what black is to white. But mostly it's about hope. Hope for my family and hope for the everyday person trying to make ends meet. I will bring some fun to your music systems and hopefully make you dance and smile!!
So I am inviting you to come on this wonderful journey with me, and to be part of something new and exciting. With your help and support we can beat the blues and make it happen. Please get involved, I ask you to read over my list of rewards and pledge your support financially whatever way you can! I hope to give as much of myself as possible in my rewards and I thank you in advance for your belief in this project...
The funds will go towards the recording which will take place in Dublin and a secret countryside location between October and November 2011 and with the help of some very special guests I will create a musical photograph for you all to enjoy. I am releasing it to the world mid-November so it will be a super Christmas gift as well!!
Included in my budget are recording/studio costs, engineers costs, musicians fees, artwork and manufacture of CD. I would like to say a huge thank you to everybody ahead of your support and participation...It's going to be fun!!
