We provide screen-printing services, run workshops & classes and host live printing events. We offer our local community opportunities to take part in art and design activities. We work with community groups, artists, schools and individuals to deliver practical and engaging print based events on an ongoing basis.
One of our ultimate goals is to create a resource that the local community can use to develop and foster their own creativity. We want to see our studio being used to produce exciting works in our home in the North West and promote sustainable and ethical printing practices in our region.
In exchange for your support of this project we will be offering a range of unique rewards, designed, developed and handmade in Sligo by pulled in collaboration with some of Sligo’s most exciting artists, designers and creators.
Our core team is made up Daniel Guest, Edel Doherty and Mark Willis.
Daniel is an SEN Teacher and runs Art For Blind Records, he has been Screen Printing for over 10 years.
Edel is a Graphic Designer and Multi Media Artist with 5 years experience in print.
Mark WIllis runs Bluestack Records and began screen printing 18 months ago when he joined pulled.
We are raising funds to equip our studio with a professional exposure unit, which will allow our members and workshop participants to create detailed and compelling artworks. We are looking to purchase portable print equipment, which will enable us to run print classes/workshops in schools, colleges, community centres and festival settings. This in turn will allow us to reach rural communities. Your support will allow us to further develop our studio.
We plan to spend approximately 75% of our budget purchasing a portable print bed and a professional exposure unit and 25% delivering our rewards.
We have led and collaborated on several projects over the past 12 months. Our project target and goals are very realistic and should we reach our target, we will complete our project without risk or challenge. Having this equipment will enable us to realise our ultimate goals in terms of creating the resource of a creative print and design studio in the North West.
Thank You for reading this. We appreciate your support of our project!
