Crude Mechanics Theatre Company are Roisin Coyle and Janet Moran. Our first production was 'Noteworthy' at Theatre Upstairs in 2013. We are committed to producing new writing.

Our newest production, 'Sick' by Roisin Coyle, will premiere at the Tiger Dublin Fringe Festival 2014.

Under the skilled guidance of director Aoife Spillane-Hinks, 'Sick' is a piercing new play looking at family, isolation and the end of love.

Orla is at breaking point, frustrated and trapped by her mother's Alzheimer's disease. To escape her dismal existence, Orla daydreams about romance and delight. But when fantasy is the only release and life is hell, it's hard for her to drag herself back to reality.
