Swimsy The Goldfish - Children's Book

By Mojo Creations Makers Of Magic

‘The Adventures of Swimsy The Goldfish in Origami Wonderland’ a children’s storybook written & illustrated by Offaly based artist and craft maker George Dempsey Flanagan.

This will be the 2nd title in a series of children’s storybooks inspired by my Origami creations - a world I have created called Origami Wonderland and the characters who live there, 'The Whimsy’s'

Along with the book, I will be producing an Origami papercraft pack - where children can learn how to make pieces that appear in the story and in turn make their very own little Origami world.

With your help I will be able to take the next step in establishing and self-publishing my series of books and craft packs for primary school children. The book is aimed at children aged 5-8 ish! and the pack for children aged 6+

You can follow updates, see pictures of some of the rewards and sneak peeks of how this project is progressing on my facebook page...

Money raised will allow me to produce & print 1000 books and 500 craft packs, as well as help me to promote and establish my work on a national scale. All rewards will be received 10 - 7 days before the official launch during Birr Vintage Week & Arts Festival taking place from July 29th - August 5th 2016

It's been an eventful year since the successful launch of my first book, but it was not without its challenges! Two weeks after the launch I suffered a major setback with a back injury which slowed me down, but never stopped me. Through support from friends, family, local and wider communities and groups I've been able to pursue my dream of being a children's author.

I wish to thank you and everyone who has shown their support of my work and believing in what I dream to achieve. This last year was a big step forward for me but I could not have gotten this far without your help and encouragement. THANK YOU
