The Good Rain Ep Launch

Based in West Cork, Ireland, we are a 3 piece alternative acoustic group that have been making music together since 2008. We are currently working on a follow up EP to our debut album 'Some Other Plan' which was released in March 2013.

Our new EP, Watch the Universe Expand, is being recorded by Rik Appleby in Lionheart Studios, West Cork. All pledges will go towards the mixing, mastering and publication of this EP.

Coinciding with the release of Watch the Universe Expand, will be two new music videos produced by Maurice Supple of Blue Shed Productions.

Musically The Good Rain inhabit the spaces between indie and Americana, post-punk and folk.

Our acoustic sound emerges from a combination of guitar, cello, percussion and bittersweet vocal harmonies. Our aim is to create a genre-hopping style incorporates everything from beautiful and eerie atmospherics to visceral percussive-driven belters.
