The Hiding hopes to examine the fragility and brevity of life and the idea that none of us know what we are really made of. Jamie is a carefree young boy who is never without a football. His neighbour, Callum, a young man barely out of his teens, is unsure of where life will take him. When they meet one spring day, it leads to an entanglement of heartache and lies.

Being students of Dublin Institute of Technology, we are provided with the majority of the equipment we require for filming as well as insurance. However, we still need your support to make this film happen as there are many costs which are unavoidable, such as:

• Additional equipment rental
• Catering for cast & crew
• Accommodation for cast & crew
• Hair/Makeup/Costume design and production
• Precision driver
• Distribution fees

The money you pledge will go towards the additional costs. We’re also offering perks for our contributors including:

• Access to a digital copy of the film (after festival circulation is complete)

• A DVD of the finished piece (after festival circuit completion)
