ABOUT "THE HITMEN":

The Hitmen will be The Dream Factory Productions fifth film to produce. The idea for the film was created by Anthony O'Reilly Jr in 2015. Since then, the script has been developed and finalised, with the aim to shoot the film in May 2021. Auditions took place in September 2020, and the cast members were later finalised. Weekly rehearsals with the cast and crew began in January 2021, and will continue until the shooting date. The Dream Factory Productions team are actively preparing for the shoot, and are organising all the pre-production activities. This film will be our largest production yet, and we believe that our cast and crew members can successfully produce The Hitmen.

ABOUT THE DREAM FACTORY PRODUCTIONS:

The Dream Factory Productions have produced four short films to date; The Interview, The Lotto Ticket, This Christmas, and Widespread. Our team consists of Anthony O'Reilly Jr as Founder, Writer and Director; Nicola Molloy as Producer, Craig Johnston as Cinematographer; James Byrne as Assistant Director and Actor; Sarah Fox as Lead MUA; Rebecca Flynn as 2nd Assistant Director; Marcus Rochford as 1st Assistant Cinematographer; Michael Kane and Greg Young as Sound Engineers; Robert Stanley as Production Designer; Sean O'Brien and Liam Boland as Editors; Lee McPartlin as BHS Photographer; Amy O'Donoghue as Hair Stylist; Grace Whelan as MUA.

WHY WE ARE CROWDFUNDING:
Since we are an independent company we are crowdfunding for this project to assist with the funds required to produce the film The Hitmen. We currently don't have any other fund raising projects. To date, we have funded all of our productions independently. This film contains bloody and gory scenes which require particular special fx makeup and prosthetic body parts. The majority of our budget will be spent on purchasing makeup and special fx tools. We will also be using the funds to purchase necessary film equipment to allow us produce the film. This ranges from SD cards, batteries, extension cords and lighting. If we reach our target funds, we will purchase clothing and props needed for the characters in the film. The clothing and props, such as the guns and cigarettes will really bring the characters to life on screen and we can bring the vision in our head into reality. We will also use the funds to rent locations to shoot the film, such as an apartment, a community centre and to receive authorisation from County Councils. We will also be using the funds raised to submit the film The Hitmen into film festivals worldwide. Any additional remaining funds will be used for hospitality for the hard-working cast and crew. We pride ourselves on keeping our budgets as low as possible.
