Our team is comprised by three local poets. Anna O'Donnell is a published poet and currently chair of the Yeats Thoor Ballylee Centre in Gort. Anthony Coppinger is a published local poet, co-founder of Poetry in the Park in Gort and a volunteer in both the Gregory Museam and Thoor Ballylee in Gort. Justin McDermott is the co-founder of Poetry in the Park and current chairperson of the Gorgeous Gort Forum. We all have extensive experience in the arts and writing, from public event management, project management and publicity.
We have all the poems already submitted. We have already identified the printer and channels of distribution locally. We are confident that we have negated all / most production risk.
In terms of publicity and sales, we are confident of sales channels through local business and online.
We would love to have people passionate about poetry, writing and the arts in south Galway and north Clare to support us in developing this poetry publication for our area. The purpose of which is to give local contemporary poets the opportunity to get their poems published.
