Tongue Bundle are a good bunch of lads (if we do say so ourselves). We have been working hard on the music we love to make and perform over the last few years. Based in Dublin we have had the fortune to play many shows throughout the city and at festivals like the Electric Picnic, Knockanstockan, Culture Night, Vantastival and Valentia Isle. We attempt to marry disparate influences in a thoughtful and expressive way compositionally, whilst focusing our live performance towards energy and feeling.
Humour and sillyness are always at leg. We are a big, often 8 - piece beast with brass balls, guitars, bass, keys, vocals, percussion and drum drums. We have previously released an e.p entitled "Salty Language" in 2012 through our own label "Unbend Leg Out".
We are looking for funding to help us with the the costs for an album tour. We have already managed to record, mix and master the album ourselves and really need your help for the final push to get it out there.
We are aiming to play shows early next year in Berlin, Paris, London and around Ireland to promote the album. Fortunately, we are lucky enough to have friends and family in these cities and around Ireland who have all offered to put us up while we are over there, but as you can imagine, the cost of getting 8 people and their instruments to and from foreign lands is very high. We have planned these tours to be short stays that are as gig intensive as possible so they will be as cost effective as they can be.
This album and the proceeding tour will only be made possible with your kindness and support. We are proud of the new music we've made and we can't wait to share it with you, any help you can give would go a great distance towards helping us to share it with others. Live performance is one of the most important aspects of our music and we would love to have the opportunity to perfect this on the road. The experience and exposure would be a huge benefit to our cause (good bunch of lads)
We have set out some nice rewards for your generosity and look forward to coughing them up. This is an exciting time for us and we can't wait for you to be a part of it.
