Clare Cashman studied Fine Art Painting at the National College of Art & Design, Dublin. Since graduating in 2002 she has been awarded the CAP Foundation Art Award, the Tony O’Malley Travel Award for Painters, an Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon bursary & a residency from Visual Artists Ireland. Cashman has participated in many group exhibitions at Pallas Contemporary Projects, Dublin, the Crawford Municipal Art Gallery, Cork, the Butler Gallery, Kilkenny, the RHA, Dublin & the Model in Sligo
